Our Guides
Your cavetubing.bz tour will be with genuine Maya Belizean guides who are licensed. I personally train all of them to assure they are treating our guests and the environment properly. For several years I have trained many cave tubing guides. Some of them are now doing cave tubing with other companies or on their own.
The guides with cavetubing.bz are in the caves practically every day. Some cave tubing guides are in the caves fewer times a week. The only time we do not go in is when the caves are flooded and this is not very often. And during the rainy season we continually check the caves to be sure the water levels are safe. We will know a day ahead of the scheduled tour if the caves are flooded, and alternate tours will be offered.
I’ll be happy to communicate and book a tour for you by email. Write to me at vitalinoreyes@gmail.com. Please send your name, your phone number, the date you plan to be in Belize, and I will give you a call. Or you can call me at 011-501-602-8975. This is my cell and WhatsApp number, and I may be in the caves during the day so leave a message and a number.
Belize is always on Central Standard Time, we do not have daylight savings hours.
Note: Children must be at least 40 inches (101.6cm) tall to go on the Cave Tubing tour at the Nohoch Che’en Archaeological Site. If they are shorter than that, the alternative is River Tubing. It is the same river, same equipment, but they don’t enter the cave system.
