You may or may not be with a few other guests, but you can stay with your group throughout the tour. Our guides are local Belizean Mayan tour guides who are professionals and are licensed in Belize.

We were the first Belizean owned company to have complied with all the new safety requirements instituted by NICH. We have the latest equipment that complies with the law. We have Petzl helmets, Petzl LED lights, life vests, and and the latest yellow tubes with cup holders, chainlinks, and head rests. And we do have smaller tubes that are for the kids.

We are the only tour company with guides all trained in cave rescue and cave wilderness techniques.

We have local, Belizean licensed tour guides. We are now inside the terminal, and we will be waiting for you right where the tender docks. You will know our guides by their gold shirts with our name on them. I, Vitalino, personally train each guide and see that each guide knows how to provide the best service for our guests. At the zipline, our guides wear gray zipline t-shirts.

We have several options for tours available for you. The most popular tour available is cave tubing, and we are specialists in this area, and refer to ourselves as “Cave Tubing Pioneers.”

We recently had an international travel agent from Bliss Travel Service as our guest, and she was more than generous with her praise for the tour, which you can read on her blog here.

Our business is transacted (payments, etc) at The Palapa. We stop here before your tour, you can rent water shoes if needed. After your tour, you have lunch here, and you can do souvenir shopping if you like, and we have t-shirts! We have rest rooms, too. Lunch is the national dish, stewed chicken and rice and beans, no waiting! We serve cole slaw, and people love to try our delicious Belizean Coca-colas, made with our cane sugar and not high fructose corn syrup!

Basic Facts About Your Tour
  • You will take a tender from the ship to the terminal, and we will be there when you exit the tender, in yellow gold polo shirts and with a sign. There’s a link to Instructions at the bottom of this page.
  • You will be assigned a guide and be off on your tour as soon as possible.
  • There are restrooms and dressing rooms at the cave tubing site.
  • You will have a free lunch at our family restaurant, included in the cost.
  • You prefer cash for payment after the tour, US dollars are fine. We now also take credit cards.
  • You will be back at the terminal in plenty of time.

WHAT YOU NEED You can wear shorts and a shirt (t-shirts are good) for your trip to and from Caves Branch. For cave tubing, bathing suits are best, with a shirt over your bathing suit. The paths on the cave tubing tour have been reinforced and there are some stones, and water shoes with thin soles may result in some discomfort, so if you wear water shoes make sure the soles are thick. We have water shoes for rent. You may need sun screen and bug spray (bugs are not bad). Towels! And cash or credit card to pay for the tour.

We have been on 16 cruises - this was by far the most fun, best organized yet - and at a GREAT price! Whenever possible we like to support the local businesses - cruise companies have manipulated the market so much that it causes hardship on these hard-working families! Our guides Leo & Jorge were amazing - their knowledge of their country and its land and vegetation was so informative. For full text click here.
